This is my fourth year as Rice Challenge Academy High School Principal and it has been an honor to be a part of Rice Consolidated ISD, and to also work together with the Texas Challenge Academy program. The Texas Challenge Academy program works under the Texas Military Department and Army National Guard. The goal of the academy is to serve at risk students who need a second or third chance of success addressing 8 core components which includes academic excellence. Our high school’s objective is to help our students recover credits, earn a GED or even a Rice Consolidated ISD high school diploma.

We raised four daughters; Victoria business profession, Chloe math teacher/coach for Poteet ISD, Madeleine English teacher/cheer coach for Pettus ISD, and Caroline a junior in college working on her teaching degree.
