Rice CISD still operating under COVID-19 safety plan Although Governor Abbott has modified the COVID restrictions in Texas, Rice CISD will continue to operate under our COVID safety plan until further notice. Our primary commitment is to ensure and maintain safety for our students and staff members. We will continue to monitor and evaluate protocols as guidance becomes available from TEA and the CDC.
